Comments on the 2019 St. John Passion DVD:

Craig and I watched TBF’s Bach’s St. John Passion last night and, in two words- utterly fantastic- we are ‘blown away’!  Truly, we are both taking time to reflect on the beauty and enormity of this production… Barry’s MASTERFUL conducting was inspiring (and exhausting) to witness.  We simply had no idea the extent of this wonderful festival you all create.  Incredible.

Acknowledgements

We should all be cognizant and grateful for the sacrifice that veterans of all branches of our United States military have made for our country.  To that end, TBF will acknowledge and honor our area veterans for their service by offering 100 free veterans tickets for our June 29 all-Mozart finale.  The music of Mozart has long been acknowledged to possess healing effects on mind, body and spirit, and presents an ideal opportunity for us all to gather together and celebrate our great nation and our veterans’ sacrifice on its behalf with the great music of Mozart.  If you are a veteran, and would like additional information on this special free tickets project, contact Dr. Williamson at barry@texasbachfestival.org.

TBF is excited to bring back one of the social highlights of last year’s festival, the post-concert RSVP “Dutch Treat” luncheon at City Post Chophouse following the Brownell/Hix joint recital on Wednesday, June 25! Limited to 35 persons, attendees must RSVP with Dr. Williamson at barry@texasbachfestival.org to secure a spot.  This is a first-come, first served opportunity, so don’t delay!

Thank you to our Sponsors!
